We popped in after seeing all the writeups and reviews, but found the cendol to be rather diluted and bland. They do have many versions, including basic at $1.70 and corn and red bean from $2 onwards.
Form$2, you can also choose from various kueh kueh, such as kueh dada and kaya with rice. These were just okay, as were the curry puffs - 90 cents each for either sardine or potato.
The interior decor of the eatery is nice.

Salty cendol in icey watery lemak and rich gula melaka to quench thirst on a hot weather. Is nice except far for me to go back once more. Goreng pisang have very crispy bits and for $2 we got 8 small pieces, which is quite value for money.

I've never had Chendol in Malacca. But the coconut cream in this chendol was too watered down for my liking. Then kick up the gula melaka to incorporate everything together, a bitterness overwhelms that whole bowl of chendol. Can't make out nor savor the taste the red bean and pandan 'worms' after that.
Banana fritters on the other hand was really enjoyable. Fried to a crisp. Still had a bite to it, instead of a mash. Slight sweet notes with every bite.

Best cendol I’ve had so far in Singapore. The green jelly taste amazing since it’s made from real rice flour instead of commercial-made jelly. Generous portion of gula Melaka syrup which is sweet and fragrant. Value for money too for a traditional bowl at $1.70. Would come back again.

Love the chendol here !
Not too sweet , a touch if saltiness makes it uniquely special!

Super good and value for money. There are quite a few variety of chendols you can choose from, cheap and authentic. My partner loves chendols and has been trying to find good ones. Glad to have found this during our staycay as we live far from here otherwise.

It's (cendol) actually pretty bad.. considering all the news feature
Ice wasn't shaved fine enough and was served with lotsa water, jelly was.. unique.. can taste a lil pandan but didn't really go with the.. melted melaka mixture...

It’s a popular Malay restaurant and Mee soto ayam is my favourite. Traditional kuie good as well
