My first time visiting, although my family has already raved about the place. Nice simple modern cafe tucked away in a quaint old neighbourhood. Part of its charm I guess. Ample parking up front. Ordered 1. Herbs & Spices Fried Chicken (really wholesome assam curry... goes great with the butter rice) 2. Wagyu Beef Burger (super juicy and flavourful patty) 3. Miso Salmon (nicely done, not over-cooked, delicately flavoured) 4. Chilli Crab pasta (the crab flavour was simply awesome) 5. Apple Crumble (something different from the others... Interesting flavour) Definitely worth visiting if around the area

Pleasant "bawah block" cafe - a good menu and very nice coffee. The lady at the counter was very friendly. However, i think the boy at the counter was new and doesn't have enough training. Took forever to order. Also asked for chili flakes for my pasta and he gave me chili sauce Zzzz. When i was being served the pasta, i saw this brown stuff and i was wondering what ingredient that was - asked him, and he has no idea. Asked him to check with the chef and he i cant fathom what he replied me. Anyways it was croutons. Strange to have big croutons on pasta but hey, i'll take it as interesting. The pasta was yums but serving was too little. Finished in 5 bites. The salmon was nicely seasoned. However, i feel like the price is too pricey for a neighbourhood, HDB, cafe. There was no lunch promo either, so it's not value for money for me.

A quiet cafe tucked away in an unassuming HDB block nearby Aljunied MRT. The Chilli crab pasta was incredible, I savoured every bite. Affogato was delicious with generous serving of ice cream, flat white could be richer though. There's powerplug here, no free wifi. Update: had lunch here again but this time was disappointed. Firstly they allowed 2 tables of total 7 pax sit next to each other allowing intermingling, chatting louding mixing to take photos and even singing a birthday song. Secondly the chicken leg with mash n slaw was dry and the chilli crab pasta was a small portion. 3 stars considering it was a pleasant experience at the first visit. Older review: Enjoyed a late lunch here! The Chilli Crab sauce scrambled eggs toast is a good combi very tasty although the sauce is not spicy than it looks. Also there are chunks of crab meat yummy! The seafood in the pasta are fresh, interesting use of angel hair pasta, but I like it better if it's on a savory side, it's abit sweet. Good coffee and very appetizing cakes that I packed 2 pieces home, the Le Vie En Rose a beetroot cream mousse on a nutty tart, and the Hazelnut chocolate on what I think it's a big choux puff. Both didn't disappoint, will be back to try the other cakes.
