Ramen Bar Suzuki

Apr 2022. No free flow egg and beansprouts. Unable to customise noodles and soup. Service is kind of weird too (the waiter played death metal music on YouTube and waited a while to serve us even though there were no other people in the shop). Noodles had no taste. Soup is on the slightly salty side. Heard from friends that standards have dropped since 1 year ago. You can get better food for $14 in the same area.

This is my first time here despite being working in the vicinity for so long. I ordered the white tonkotsu ramen with a few ingredient top ups. To be fair, the ramen is pretty decent. I can understand some of the folks who appreciate the freebies (bean sprout and boiled egg). But this is a really weird place...for the service is almost 0 (out of 5 stars). The cashier really needs attitude adjustment. Sadly, I'm beginning to think this ramen bar is losing customers, regardless of how great the ramens are.

Now an average ramen shop - I used to love coming here for lunch when I worked nearby. Came back recently and in addition to the cut back of free-flow sides, the broth was less memorable than before, and the pork just so-so. Hope they get their pre-COVID groove back as it’s still one of the few decent ramen options in the neighborhood.

Visited this place on a Monday evening and it was pretty quiet and empty. But don't let this give you the impression that the food isn't great. We had a spicy-tonkotsu, and a tonkotsu-miso ramen. Both bowls were done well and came with different ramen noodle types. Broth was great and noodles were springy. Flavours went well together in each bowl. The fried burdock chips we ordered was also awesome to snack on before the ramen was served. However, I find the portion size for the chips was tad small vs the price. Still, it's a great side dish that you dont easily find everywhere. Overall a decent experience here. I would recommend them for their ramen which are around $14+/- per bowl.

Possibly the most disappointing ramen i have ever ate. I had high hopes after reading rave reviews on the place. Ramen i was extremely salty and the pork charsiu had this taste of frozen or pork that had been stored for a extremely long time.The odour of the meat persisted after quite a while and couldn’t be washed down with a cup of water. Very disappointing. Would not recommend a visit but rather check out other food places in the area that circular road has to offer.
