Jane Thai Orchard

Very disappointing. At first they said the chef is a Thai then they say no they're Malaysians. And the food quality and taste was really Non Thai. The Tom yam crab fried rice didn't have a single taste more of tomyam or any flavor of the sort. Tasted more like a homemade fried rice. Even the lemongrass drink had some Funny flavors. Avoid.

This is a friendly Restaurant and Bar that we used twice when stopping nearby. We were a party of 6 and made a range of requests for difference dishes, some with chilli and others left without on request. We were on a tight schedule too so they served us early letting us in before their usual full open time.Both the mango and papaya salads were very god and so too were the fish cakes, their sauces and the chicken dishes. Nice friendly people who gave us help with local knowledge too. Recommended.

Wonderful food, friendly service, no MSG, great natural flavors in the hat we ordered. The cold, sweet, milk tea is delicious . It is also refreshing to sit in a genuine Thai restaurant and without all the idolatry that normally accompanies. Just some simple artwork and some beautiful quotes from the Word of God in the walls. Keep up the great food, we’ll be back.

Thai food made by lovely Thai people.... Hard to miss! Surprisingly quiet for a Thai resto that serves up authentic Thai food. The red Tom yam soup was a winner for me with deep heavy flavors that are unmistakable Tom yam . The Thai Basil leaf chicken was also a well executed Thai traditional dish. Bolt on $10 pints, and lovely service, you've got yourself a dining outlet that you can come to every other day!

Ate there the other day, food was great and service was good. The tom yam soup and green curry was delicious although quite spicy but I heard from the staff that there is an option to order the dish with less chilli. Saw the staff making minor mistakes here and there but their readiness to apologise and efforts for service recovery was impressive. Will definitely be back again!!

Went there for dinner at about 7.30pm. Only one staff to mend the reception, take orders, make drinks and serve. We ordered bean paste kang kong with specific instruction for it to be made spicy, minced prawn omelette (after we were told the mussels and sotong which we had wanted to order was not available) and grilled pork neck. We were told to wait specifically 13 minutes for the grilled pork neck which we were fine with it. The food took more like half an hour to be served and only at this point we were told grilled pork neck was also not available. We decided to just stick with the omelette and kang kong, which had no trace of any chilli despite our instruction. Both dishes were extremely salty too. While I can empathize with the overwhelmed service staff due to the labour challenges, the food quality was so disappointing.

Not too impressed. Went to try out the place after reading pretty good reviews about it but ended up disappointed. Food were salty and portion quite small. Service wise so so and slow though the staff were friendly. The saving grace was the green curry that tasted above expectation. The pad thai tho was a major disappointment.
