Mob Cafe

The pasta was quite good, and the tea was great. The truffle fries, though...you can barely taste the truffle oil used in the cooking process. Also, there's a bit too much salt there. I literally felt my lips shrivel up from the salt on the fries. That was the one disappointing thing I have to tell them. To fix that issue, I say that they should use more truffle oil to let the truffle flavour shine through more, and please use a bit less salt!

I dropped by this cafe today for lunch!! I ordered the grilled atlantic salmon and it was really delicious. The salmon was tender and well seasoned, and complemented the terriyaki sauce well. The staffs are nice and friendly, service was rather good. This is a good place to visit if you want to chill alone or with your friends & family. They have a variety of beers, coffee and delicous food. Would come back again! 😩👌🔥

I dropped by the MOB Cafe , 29th Mar 17, and I have to say it's definitely a great place to wind down after work with beer and good food. It's located just off Novena, $4 uber ride from the station. It's a small cafe, maybe seats 20+ people. It has all the staple bar snacks, truffle fries, buffalo wings, quesadillas and more. It also has a very straight forward dining menu. They serve Brewerkz beer on tap and a couple of bottled beers. I ordered the Pan-Seared Pork Collar (Chef's Special) & my buddy ordered the Pulled Pork Burger. Food was so good we forgot to take pictures before digging in. The Pan-Seared Pork Collar was nicely cooked, the sauces complimented the meat without over powering the taste and kipfler potatoes was a great carb. The Pulled Pork burger was huge and very filling. We also bought most of the bar snacks, Calamari Rings & Sesame Chicken Wings are highly recommended. The calamari is tender and fresh, with the breaded crumbs fried to a crisp. Sesame wings were recommended by the staff for good reason for they are seasoned to perfection. As for the beers it's all Brewerkz so you're safe no matter what you pick. There's a seasonal Mad Bee Honey Ale that's mad delicious so that's my recommendation. I gotta say, the experience of dining & drinking there has been wonderful, they have very attentive staff and food orders are fulfilled quickly. I had a great time celebrating a birthday there, the owner is on site to see how your night progresses. They also had a mean chocolate cake and have candles to celebrate birthdays. It's an ace of an establishment & I'll be back.

MOB Cafe is a (very) new brewery cafe that has just opened up on Kim Keat Road, and conveniently under the apartment complex I lived in. The concept is intriguing- casual eatery serving beer, coffee, food, etc, yet they still have some growing pains. My one visit there during a lunch hour on a weekday showed a mobbed place (pun intended) with only one waitress. Getting her attention to just order drinks took more than 10 minutes and then another 10-15 for the drinks to actually be served. The beers are from brewerkz, so no complaints there! While the slow service should have been an immediate red flag, we were too starving to find another place to eat, so opted to stay and take a chance to order the fish and chips, wings, and mozzarella sticks- all good and satisfying, but nothing to write home about. They do not accept credit cards at the moment, so be sure to bring enough cash. Mob Cafe has promise- can only hope the service improves and their menu options expands.

Heard much about this place from colleagues... finally had time to try it out today with the kids & hubs... and guess what! Kids eat free with every main dish ordered on this Children's Day! The hubs had the Grilled Atlantic Salmon while I tried the Chicken Parmigiana where the herb crumb chicken thigh was topped with melted ham & cheese. Kiddies had their free items from the Kids Menu - Mac & Cheese and Penne in Cream. We also shared Truffle Fries and Chilli Nachos! Food was awesome with very generous serving at very affordable prices. They serve Brewerkz craft beer too and since it is Happy Hour All Day on Friday... me and the hubs took the chance to enjoy a few pints while the kids had their Root Beer Floats! Cosy relaxing ambience with friendly service crew! Especially love the wall mural! Totally makes us feel like we are out of SG! Would definately be back to try their other dishes.
