Good food. Very crowded. The staff mentioned the wait time for the food might be longer due to the crowd. Its a good heads up to have. Or rather expectation setting. The food was good. It actually arrived in reasonably good time. It's likely because I ordered one of the most common dishes - basil chicken and rice.

Celebrated GALENTINE'S Day with a bunch of great pals. Ordered a lot of food and would had ordered more if the restaurant had not taken a lot of stuff off the menu. Only 1 coconut left, ordered that! Puzzled why so many drinks were not available: Lychee Mojito, ginger lemongrass tea, coconut water... Average food, not life-changing. Had the tiniest papaya spring roll, the size of a finger. Long beans - too saucey , pineapple fried rice flat... Bill:S$232 for 8 pax with sharing plates. However the overall saving grace was the patient n kind auntie that served us. Lastly, no complimentary water served here. Why??????Drinks were overpriced at S$5.80 for a glass of lemongrass tea. No refill. Come here for nice ambience but not for the food.

$38.90 for a mix grill plater like that as shown below, is just cheeky business. Charging such prices for a restaurant is ok but please, the dishes you serve must be of certain standard and quantity. It was our first time there at their wheelock branch, it will be our last. We ordered a variety of dishes, the food quality is not too bad, but its just average hawker centre standard. You could get the same or better at a local coffeeshop. They are short staffed and disorganised, the older gentleman who appears to be the manager, was at the cashier using his mobile phone instead of helping with his staff. We could see tables left uncleared. We are surprised that this is even a chain restaurant, we wonder if it is just poor management of this outlet, it could be that the other outlets are better.
