Came during lunch hour and price is decent for a restaurant. Food however was so so. Sirloin and fish & chip was quite tasteless (fortunately for the sauce) and chicken was quite oily (well we did order it knowing it was deep fried). Good enough to keep you full but not worth the calories.
Staff was prompt and patient especially the older staff who's constantly asking if we are doing good.
Reason why I'm posting this and also with the star rating is the cleanness... the glasses we were given were all stained with residues. One even had lip stick mark left by the previous customer??! Gave up after requested for the 4th glass and clean it myself. Didn't dare to think about the hygiene of the rest..

Jack's Place has been around for several decades, and I think the recent rebranding with a brighter color palette for the interior and the focus on healthier food makes it a very family friendly place to take the kids on a weekend.
I personally love their fish. I always get it.

You pay $5 for some Doritos in a bowl, gimmicky presentation that limits portion sizes, cheap and throw away table-wear with cheaper food quality.
