Had to physically stop menu from being placed on a wet table, server forgot to give us cutlery after order placed. Not a great start. Then comes a not quite presidential Fried Rice-missing half the egg but overall good spicy kick, well seasoned, and not too oily.

Ayam Penyet President has always been our favorite. Delicious food. Those who love the spicy sambal then this is a must to try. They labelled the boxes which makes it easier for the customer to identify the food ordered. The service was incredible and the delivery guy was super friendly! Overall, the staff really enjoyed the food :)

Ordering process is fast and food served very quickly. The ayam penyet is a bit too smashed for my taste, there is almost zero texture. Taste-wise it is good and the sambal is great. Hope the chicken better next time.

One of the better places to go for authentic Indonesian food, if you are looking for the best Indonesian fried rice in Singapore, this is the place to go to! I will usually order the extra spicy nasi goreng if you can take it, and with no vegetables as they use instant mixed vegetables, more authentic with no veges.

Ayam penyet or smashed chicken is the best in this restaurant for me, else the catfish also good. Worth for the price. This is one such place and I'm satisfied with the food so far. Tried the ayam penyet and ayam bakar. The bakar is somewhat dry but still edible while the penyet is clearly the star of the show. Not bad if you're looking for a midrange restaurant. We had the bef rendang, which was delicious - the sauce was rich and thick and the meat was succulent. We ordered a plate of lontong to go with that, but it was only a few pieces. Also had the grilled chicken thigh, which was also cooked nicely, with a plate of rice. Deciding to give it another try, again I was a little let down by both, and especially so, the customer service and the quality of the food. Auntie with glasses was moody with black face as from her body language i could tell she did not love what she was doing as she kept giving stares to patrons - coz they keep wetting the washing area. As for any indo restaurant, the quality of food can just be determined by the avocado juice. And here, theirs has just too many ice cubes and sugar added to the juice. Sweet sauce drizzled over the chicken. Would have been better if the meat was more tender..Ayam penyet, deep fried tempeh, tofu and fish cake. With Chilli and more Chilli. Oh my nose is flowing! All for $19.80, which is pretty decent! Sinful meal indeed 😳, indeed growing my belly. It's Tuesday everyone! Hashtag #thegrowingbelly to share your delicacy with us! Have a yummy week! •

Though it isn't as nice as the one at lucky plaza cause it was kinda cold, the chili tad too spicy but the chicken was still tasty. Never order the ice lemon tea because it sucks so bad that I don't even know how to describe the taste of it. It's just plain disgusting. Sweet sauce drizzled over the chicken. Would have been better if the meat was more tender.. Ayam penyet, deep fried tempeh, tofu and fish cake. With Chilli, Chilli, and more Chilli. Oh my nose is flowing! All for $19.80, which is pretty decent! Sinful meal indeed 😳, indeed growing my belly. It's Tuesday everyone! Hashtag #thegrowingbelly to share your delicacy with us! Have a yummy week! The chicken was tender, not bad for fried chicken breast. Kangkong was damn spicy. Sweating buckets while eating this, but damn worth the taste. Sweet sauce drizzled over the chicken. Would have been better if the meat was more tender..
