Sea Scent

Had a night out with some mates 🤸 over lots of meat 🍖🍗🥩 and beer 🍻 After we took the original picture of the platter without any reference point, we decided to take two more pictures with reference points 🤣🤣🤣 so you get the idea of how large the serving portion is! 4 grown hungry adults and still there were leftovers! The meat platter was done to perfection - everything on it was delicately marinated and grilled just enough so the meat remained juicy and tender. 😋 It came with a whole lot of greens 🥗🍍🎃 and pita bread 🫓 The ambience ... Just magical 🧚‍♂️🧚‍♀️🧚 It was surreal 🥰😍 We were there at dusk as the sun was setting... it felt like being in a painting where the artist was in the midst of creating his masterpiece🎨🖌️ red, orange, purple, blue colours sweeping across the skyline... absolutely breathtaking... You'll have to be there to appreciate it... One of the better sunsets 🌅 we've witness in a long long time Btw, this is a somewhat casual outdoor cafe right by the boardwalk so come dress appropriately. Or pick the correct time of the year - like we did. It was a nice cool evening. Else you'll be sweating buckets 🪣 it's Singapore after all. 😬✌️

I heard they will be moving out by this year so I just had to come before they move. You should visit this place just while the sun is setting around 6.30pm. Make reservation beforehand and ask for the seats near the sea front for couples. It’s good for photo taking. If there is no reservation, it’s likely the sea front seats are unavailable. 5 star for the ambience, I came on a day where there is an early afternoon rain, so the air is clean and fresh and the weather is not so hot. Service is also good. I can’t comment on their food quality and standard as I only order a BBQ ribs for sharing. The BBQ ribs is average, too dry for my liking. Frankly it feels like it’s been prepared early and only heat up when ordered. I would come back again for the ambience.

Ordered the pot of mussels (with white wine sauce and garlic bread), Caesar salad and Baby back ribs (changed the shoe string fries to sweet potato fries). Came on a Sat. evening, sizeable crowd so reservations are advisable. Food came pretty fast (15-20min?), place is breezy so your food won’t stay warm for long. So finish up fast and enjoy the scenery!

Beautiful place for alfresco dining. Especially gorgeous in the evening with the cool wind blowing as the sun sets. Despite the crowd the service is fast and efficient, and quality of the food is decent. While the pizza dough felt stale and pre-made, the rest of the food ordered - such as the clams were fresh and garlic bread toasted well.

What they say is true... It is a nice place for a good dinner. Went there a couple days ago, but in the afternoon so it was a bit hot due to the whether... Had pan seared salmon, truffle fries and a pizza. The food was good. Was nice. Service was prompt and accomadating. Was a bit sad to hear they might be closing. But worth the money and you definitely try while they're still around. Thumbs up!
