Thumb up for the barbecue pork, mutton satay, chicken wings on charcoal. What i like most is the porcelain plates holding up the satays and chicken wings, The porcelain bowls holding up the satay sauces. The rice wrapped up with banana leafs. I strongly recommend going for Good Luck Barbecue stall when you visit the food stalls at Lorong 8 Toa Payoh. Cheers

I discovered this hidden gem. They only sell black carrot cake in the morning. The dish is not overly sweet like most black carrot cake sold in Singapore. The cake is very tender, with bits of "chye poh" (fermented vegetable) to add crunchiness to the texture. They do add chilli when they fried it, and you may opt for non-spicy. It has "wok-hey" (charred) but I think the carrot cake can be fried longer for more charred taste.
