The Rice Bowl

Came here from shopee app. The salted egg chicken is indeed as what the reviews mentioned. Chicken portion was just nice with generous sauce. The sauce was cooked with chilli but its was just slightly spicy. Price per bowl is 5.50 Also ordered the xing hua mee hoon at 4.50. The xing hua mee hoon was average but it has lots of ingredients and comes with small prawns which most places does not have. Overall the place is worth visiting if you are at the vicinity!

It’s cheap and good place to eat. Many people coming up for lunch during the lunch break with their colleagues...the seats near the window gets views. You can order specific Chinese dishes and also can order the mix of dishes which they already prepared. Many vegetables to choose. Totally recommended!

Everyone's going for it's neighbour, Taste Good's salted egg chicken. But this particular stall serves salted egg chicken pork and fish for a way larger portion and tastes equally good!!!! I used to frequent Taste Good until I tried this stall and realise it is even better. $5.50 for salted egg chicken with egg and $5.50 for salted egg pork with egg.

Was a loyal fan of the salted egg chicken rice for almost 3 years. Even introduced quite a number of friends to patronize the place. Its literally one of my comfort food and hangout places with my friends. Somehow after the rebranding and renovation, the famous salted egg chicken is sadly not my favorite anymore. The portion, taste and look are all different. The sauce doesn’t taste the same anymore and the chicken chunks are so small that some of them are only pieces of fried flour. I used to be able to finish the whole plate but now I can’t anymore. Not sure if it is because your chef have changed? I want the old receipe back!! :(
