Starbucks

One of the best places to study or get work done in my opinion. I usually come here during the weekend to study for my test at work and I can focus really well here. The place is often crowded so bring a pair of headphones. Otherwise, if you're looking for a place to hang out or catch up with friends, this is a good spot as well. The drinks at starbucks are on the high side but I don't mind since I'm paying mostly for the space.

I had the worst experience at Starbucks Kallang Leisure Mall with the new staff on duty today, Stanley and another lady (I didn't manage to get her name). I ordered 2 sets of Rosemary chicken for takeaway. I order 2 grande English breakfast tea, one with milk and one without. I've been ordering this set for years and I've always been charged $15, however, I was being charged $17.90 today, the reason the lady over the counter gave me was she's charging me the English breakfast tea with milk as English breakfast tea latte, to which I told her that was never the case. After the food was prepared (takeaway if I may remind you again), Stanley just left it all on the counter (2 hot tea cups and 2 packet of rosemary chicken) without putting them in a takeaway bag for me. I stood at the counter and said 'excuse me' a couple of times but both staff choosed to ignore me while serving other Caucasian customers with tip top service. The previous staff working here served everyone with pride, regards of race and skin colour. What is going on here? #isitbecauseiamchinese
