Daessiksin Korean Bbq Buffet

Perfect combination of yummy BBQ meats and tasty soups. They do it well for both and not just for BBQ meats. I would rather eat here than the one downstairs. The exhaust is much better so you don't end up smelling like BBQ after the meal. Price is a little higher but still worth it. This is as ultimate as you can get for BBQ plus soup buffet.

They serve both bbq grill and steamboat at the buffet. However, for 3 of us, they have a time limit to dine within 1h40min, which was more than sufficient for us. You can make your own dip from the selection of sauces and ingredients they have. The short beef ribs were tasty. The service was prompt. They changed the grill and the stove gas upon request. They also clear the plates often. Seniors get a cheaper rate by around SGD 3.

Nice and clean Korean BBQ. They change the grill automatically a few times during your visit even without asking for it. Some negative references bellow about asking for additional fee due to wastage of food are not appropriate. The stuff warns about this rule or you can simply read it or ask if you are there for the first time and don't know how it works. It is good to teach some people they should not waste the food. You can even bring your own alcohol to this bbq, big plus! :-) Very much liked the grilled prawns, or packed grilled meat into lettuce (Korean way) and also sweet potatoes! :-)

Went on a Friday afternoon, there was a student promotion at 13.90++ excluding the collagen hot pot. The soup was really nice. There aren't much marinated meats to choose from, the cooked food is very standard and basic, Korean-type dishes. They had chicken, pork and beef, usually basic cuts. They had a make your own bibimpab station and the usual soft drinks and desserts. Service was prompt and staff were friendly. Place was super clean and organised! Would go back due to its price and quality :)

Staff are not attentive - don't bother to tell you about the buffet etc. They also don't change your grill unless you ask them to specifically or replenish the food items until you ask. JUST GO TO THE KOREAN BBQ - SSIKKEK BBQ DOWNSTAIRS - Way better customer service and actually run by customer centric staff! Daessiksin has very bad service! The "Manager" or "the loudest staff in the restaurant" has an attitude problem and keeps talking very loudly to other staff AND customers in a very condescending manner. He will try to force you to eat "food wastage" after paying (and no one mentioned once you settled payment) and chases you after exiting the restaurants. We didn't even leave much food but he told us to come back and eat it, or pay for it... WILL NEVER RETURN!!! JUST GO TO SSIKKEK BBQ DOWNSTAIRS
