Gyu-kaku

Wow, what I can say is, the Japanese wagyu all you can it is worth the money. Ate it during lunch time, less crowded. Once u order thru the app, the food came almost instantly. That’s a plus point for buffet. The service standard was superb too. Instant refill of your refillable drink. Lastly, the in house ice cream, soooooo gooodd, had the matcha and vanilla, maybe gyu kaku can start to open their own ice cream shop 👍🏻

This place is very accessible by MRT, generous servings of fresh meat. Chose the buffet over the alacarte and wasn’t disappointed. Love how peaceful and cosy it is here with lesser crowds. Thomas was very helpful and helped us put out the fire caused by the oil dripping into the coals. This bbq shop is located next to Golden Village Ticketing Booth on the 5th floor.

My favourite yakiniku restaurant chain. Already come here for a couple of times as this is one of the less crowded branches. Now always orders the Japanese Wagyu 700g/540g Platter, and it’s super enjoyable!!😋 Don’t want to order the buffet anymore…😂 I wish the validity of loyalty card can be longer, maybe at least one more month than the current 3 months. Or maybe after accumulated the full 20 stamps, the 20% discount can be utilized within one month from the expiry of card.

Had the worst gyukaku experience at the outlet. Ordered the buffet option which we usually have at other outlets. While the service crew was polite and responsive, the problem was with the meat. We ordered almost EVERY available option of beef and none of them were edible (the Australian wagyu which was meant to be the premium item was the toughest). Just tough and chewy. We tried various done-ness of cooking the meat; rare, medium, well-done even. None of them worked. We’ve never had a problem with gyukaku meat. Even the seasoning was off. Everything was too salty. It was truly a complete waste of money. I’m very disappointed..
