Ayam Penyet President

Usually visit this restaurant from Ayam penyet. Last week their photo menu and written menu was different in numbering. I’m very glad they updated it finally as we sometimes order wrong due to the written menu being outdated. The chendol from Fraser mall can only claim before 5pm which is not mentioned in the T&Cs. Stuck with the voucher now, thankfully wasn’t too many Fraser points. Cashier uncle not as friendly these days. Their 2pc Ayam penyet $11.50 is 1 thigh and 1 breast meat. Which we forget once in awhile. Will be good if this is reflected in the paper order sheet. Option to select toufu only, thigh meat will be good also, sometimes we forget to mention even though we visit at least 2-4 times a month. Food is ok. Bottom of the Ayam Penyet was mushy. Vegetable wasn’t fresh for the Kai Lan with oyster sauce today.

We ordered Ayam penyet grilled chicken, fried tilappa and tahu Telor. My husband and I would like to share that we utterly enjoyed the food. It was a satisfying meal. Do convey our appreciation to the chef. We ordered from the Tampines Century Square outlet by Grab food. Thank you for the wonderful experience

The bbq fish & the tahu telur took me by surprise. The fish had a lovely bbq aroma & flavour & I also liked the texture of the fish. I'm not a fan of tahu telur but the one from this shop was very soft & smooth and also did not have a strong "eggy" smell/taste. The chicken was as expected but a tad dry. Overall a very enjoyable lunch.

Ordered ayam penyat and ikan bakar. The Ayam penyat was very dry and hard to swallow. Chicken was also not smashed. The fish was very disappointing. It was completely burnt. Ordered from Grab and the moment we open the packaging, can smell very strong burnt smell. We ate about 10% and it was too charred and had no choice but to throw the rest away. I used to like Ayam Penyat President and brought my friends there.. Very disappointing that quality drop so much and no QC before sending the food out. It used to be much better.
