Food variety of choices for a lovely teochew porridge fix. However, price is steeper than the usual ones & food could have been warmer. Waitress could be more friendly. Will return if price is better.

Food is not fresh, vegetables were yellow. Taste average, used to be better. Price is can be inconsistent, depending on the staff. Lastly, staff attitude is bad. Overall, it's not worth your calories. There are better ones around.

Visiting this place just prior to lunchtime allows one to sample the dishes that have been prepared and is still piping hot
Favourite dishes include pickled salted vegetable, cai pu omelette, braised duck and chicken feet
Some other dishes worthy of mention is chinese sausage and cold squid, both come with an appetising plum dip
An unusal dish would be cold blood clams drizzled in dark sauce and cracked peanut candy
Be prepared to fork out abit more than other teochew porridge places
