I dined here on its 4th day open, and would never have guessed that it hadn't already been a neighborhood institution for years. Chalk it up to passionate, experienced owners and a great new gastro-model with a shop selling the same high- grade imported Italian food items as the restaurant uses itself. The amazing fresh tomatoes alone are worth the trip -- though even better when already drizzled to bedazzle a bruchetta. Also kid-friendly, this is the perfect kind of place to bring good friends for a long lazy night of Italian comfort food, tasty wine and memories in the making. Bravo!

Good restaurant, quality food, pleasant staff - forgive fact served Hendrick's Gin+ tonic with lime ( vs cucumber). However, unforgivable that head chef, who had worked with daughter at previous restaurant thought it appropriate/funny to tell her she was fat. Maybe missed cultural nuance, but simply put unforgivably rude will never return !!!!

Delightful restaurant at Hillcrest. Pizza was very generous covered with procuito and crust crispy yet offering a substantial, satisfying bite. Their Satisfood burger was also seriously yummy with each mouthful offering burst of flavor. Reminds me of hearty food at Italian farmhouses. Pick out well priced Italian wines, cheeses at their in house cellar and retail area and you're set for great meal!
