The Connoisseur Concerto

It is only my first time eating here so I may not be the best person to comment. I must say that the clam and hotate mentaiko spaghetti is great though. I think the key is in the soup base used to prepare the spaghetti. I must say we waited really long for one of the order though. One of us just received his food after we have all finished ours. There were 12 of us eating together. Might have missed out his order I guess.

Dessert excellent, black point the service guys. Are pushing people away because is time to close (11.20 pm). To present the bill to the customers is really impolite and inopportune if they are still eating. A hit late in the night will give more opportunities to be appreciated avoiding to be classified impolite and unprofessional, suggestion!

May 2, 2021 Sunny Sunday. Decided to do my 16th half marathon. The cat waited at the playground. I spoke to the cat for a while and then started my run. From Jalan Buruh, West Coast Hway, Pasir Pajang Rd, Keppel Road and then turned to Anson Road and finally Raffles Place. The cityscape alo g Singapore River is beautiful. Cotton-like clouds decorated the blue sky. From Boat Quay, walked through the narrow lanes, you will spot tcc at Circular Road. It will be refreshing to grab a cup of hot coffee.

Ambience is great as with all TCCs, but they must be seriously understaffed. We waited 50mins for our lunch sets despite repeated promptings, and one of my sisters had to give it up altogether to rush back to office. We even had to walk up to the counter to ask for water, and even then had to wait 10 minutes for it to appear. When the food finally appeared, we were just given the reason that this is a new menu. Doesn't make sense by any means as there were only 2 new items on menu from what I could tell. There was only one other table occupied on the ground floor so not sure what caused the hold up, although perhaps second floor might have been crowded. Would have expected at least some effort to compensate us for our time, but there was sadly none whatsoever. Won't be returning. Given that lunch is the real money spinner in the CBD, and TCC food is fairly pricey, it's a real shame operations are in shambles

Nice food but very slow service, we waited an hour for two meals and nearly 30 min for the drinks and was eventually told the kitchen had issues, should have been told from start as would have moved on. They offered free slice of cake to compensate but felt meal should have been compensated for instead.
