Rattana Thai Restaurant

Was looking around for a Thai restaurant to host some visiting friend and chance upon this nice restaurant at Tanjong Pagar. This restaurant is located in Tanjong Pagar Centre which is a HDB block. The restaurant is small but the ambience is nice. The eating area is not noisy so it’s a nice place for lunch meeting. Comes to the food, it’s very nice and is better than many Thai restaurant out there. How about the price? Well it’s surely not the cheapest but I feel that you are paying for the good ambience and good food. It’s worth the price you paid. Is it worth revisiting? Yes!

Quite a nice and cosy place for authentic thai food. Love the ambience and all but... is there a need for so may CCTVs? I cannot help but feel... watched. Service was between nice and decent. Food was pretty good. But my only issue is the 7 CCTVs in such a small restaurant. Loved the lunch set. The sweet chili chicken was nice. Tomyum kway tiao was decent but a little too spicy for local standards. The coconut ice cream was yummy. Set lunch came with a drink as well. Thai milk tea. A little too sweet for my liking but still good.

Awesome restaurant with exquisite and authentic Thai food. Wide range of variety for selection that includes signatures like green curry, pandan leave chicken, lemon chilli squid and choices such as lemongrass chicken, tom yum soup, tamarind prawns, pineapple fried rice, pad thai and the list goes on with even mookata on the menu! Thank you for being such a lovely host bringing smiles to my guests. Definitely would recommend as a to go place for dining and gathering. Keep up the good work Rattana Thai Restaurant and team!
