Very pleasant experience at Joy Luck 65. Heard they adopt slow food concept by do most preparation in-house rather than getting processed ingredients. Did'nt get to try their fusion vegetarian dishes this round but will definitely be back.

I went there for the first time upon my colleague's recommendation and was impressed! An Indian/vegetarian/fusion restaurant, the dishes served were mainly Indian food with a slight twist. I could really taste the freshness of the ingredients in each dish. My personal favourite would be the deconstructed samosa chat as the flavours and spices were incredible. Topped with freshly chopped tomatoes, onions and parsley, it was the perfect complement to the dish, making it impactful but not overwhelming. All the other dishes served were good as well. My only issue was that it took quite some time to come but I can look past that as it was made without any MSG/preservative/flavouring which will usually make me thirsty. Overall an amazing experience, with great wholesome food and friendly staff. Will definitely be back for more soon!

Authentic Indian semi fine dining that left me craving more. Unlike typical heavy pungent Indian cuisine, this has an exquisite lightness to the spices and portion was substantial. Would go back again especially for the thali and minimalist ambience.

Have always enjoyed the food here. It’s become a habit now to pick up a snack or two for home every time I visit Millenia Walk when I don’t have time to sit down for a meal. We first came here because of the name Udipi Ganesh Vilas, a casual and very popular Indian restaurant off East Coast Road near the Hindu temple nearby. Joy Luck 65 however has a much more pleasant ambience and comfortable seating. The food is also a little different here, with fresher ingredients and a taste that is more refined. The samosas with their special tamarind chutney, podi idlis, masala padpadams, vadas with sambar...all very very good. The restaurant is squeaky clean and the service was very sincere and warm. Special mention goes to the very kind and gentle Chinese lady who takes my orders every time. For the longest time I didn’t even know the restaurant’s name was Joy Luck 65 until I couldn’t find Udipi Ganesh Vilas in Millenia Walk on Google and resorted to looking at photos of the shop front to tell if I got the right place. The shopfront only have the logo that spells JL65 arranged in a way that I thought was some Indian symbols. Now I know and will definitely come back again and again.

Went with a friend and tried the North and South Indian sets. FANTASTIC! So many dishes, each full of flavor and spice, at a very reasonable price. Somehow this deliciousness was managed without too much oil. I felt pleasantly warm and full when I left.

The place has best ever Indian food I tried in SG so far. Bit confusing with name as it doesn’t appear to be like a std. Indian veg restaurant name at least on google search. The ambience looks more like a cafe or Italian or French restaurant so you might just walk past it without even realising that they actually serve Indian food 😅. But strongly recommend if you are looking for a sophisticated yet budget option for a great Indian food (without facing lot of crowds like in Little India etc.) this place awaits you.

A bit of a long wait, but truly excellent vegetarian food. Really one of the best Indian options in Singapore. Loved the beetroot dosa (though that was a bit thick), and had the best babycorn 65 in my life here. Chai is superb. Great service, too. Just bring a bit of time and you’ll love it.

Slow food that is highly recommended. Even the rice is steamed and prepared individually for order. Will go back.
