I ordered the Unagi Don, Chirashi Don and Salmon Aburi Maki. The food was surprisingly good. I find the Unagi Don as good as the popular Man Man Unagi Restaurant, but cheaper and not having to queue. The sashimi on the Chirashi Don was cold and fresh. It tasted yummy on the bed of warm rice. They offered 1-for-1 for the Salmon Aburi Maki. The 1-for-1 was served together as 8 pieces on a long plate. It costs $8.90. There is no service charge or GST but I had to order the food at the counter. I was given a buzzer for me to pick up my food. The service was slow and inattentive but the staffs were polite. There were only 10 tables. The setting was basic Japanese but clean and comfortable. The food was enough for me to return a second time.

My friends and I changed upon this outlet when we saw the national day promotion. I ordered the bara chirashi don which is very worthwhile with a decent serving. The only downside is that the rice was rather dry without any sauce; the sauce on the sides of the bowl could have been directly on the don. Nevertheless, the fish was quite fresh with a few pieces of octopus. My friends tried the unagi don (not pictured) and it was decent though it had a slightly fishy taste. The salmon aburi don (not pictured) was great but rice was dry as well.
