There are a couple of good stalls here and the rating’s for them. Soon Kee duck rice is the best duck rice no one seems to know. Maybe it’s nostalgia talking as they were the first braised duck rice I ever knew, but I’ve never found the “famous” ones any better. They braise the ducks and make the chili onsite, and the old couple running this place actually retired for a few years after the uncle burnt himself frying the chili. Chang Ji claypot delight is the other standout stall here. The fish for their sliced fish soup is always delightfully fresh. Claypot Braised trotters and bak kuh Teh are also above average.

Mixed econ rice got shark meat; carrot cake is nice; econ noodle make for good breakfast; kopi uncle is super professional and kind; too bad the traditional western left, otherwise they will make the list too ; the ample seats and fans in the seating area makes this kopitiam my frequent place to have breakfast.

One veg $3.50. Take away South India veg meal they charge $4. Another employee charge $4.50. 3 veg $4. 2 veg meal $4.
