Liho Tea

Went there and saw the sign that they were on break, and decided to wait there until they were done. The sole employee there was watching a show on her phone and eating a McSpicy. I ended up waiting there for 40 minutes, and when I finally asked her how long her break was, she said she had 20 more minutes of break. She clearly did not start her break right when I arrived, as she had bought and started eating the McSpicy. Since when do employees have more than a 1 hour 15 min break when they are the only ones working at the location, and the website said they are open?

I'm really really curious how the service crew are being trained. The so-called 'Tearista' has the most unfriendly face and body language. She has a perpetual scowl and does not believe in thanking customers although I did her a favour by giving her small change instead as $50 is apparently is too big a note for 2 drinks which cost $12.50!! Standing like a zombie at the corner was a trainee who believes her job was to ignore queueing customers at the cashier & just keep busy by flipping the drink list manual!! Although she knew a long queue was forming, she did not bother to offer any help at all. My 2 drinks took more than 15min while the queue just kept forming. No apologies whatever. Liho Operations Manager should step up on your counter staff training for both full-time & trainee staff. The waiting time is too long for each customer & your staff have such unfriendly & annoying dispositions.

It said that the cathay cineleisure opened at 10.30 am, when I got there I got rudely told by the staff that they only opened at 12pm. I spent time shouting there because the staff was in the back and refused to acknowledge me, I even asked the question “Are you open?” multiple times and no response. After about 10 mins then the staff came out and told me they were closed, after I showed her the website she still insisted that they open at 12pm. Horrible service.
