They ran out of pork katsu by the time I arrived for lunch, which wasn’t too late. Settled for the teriyaki chicken instead. It looks more like sweet and sour pork and tastes somewhat like it too. I was actually impressed by the portion vs price. I’m glad I discovered this place and will be back for more.

Chance upon this stall selling Japanese food inside the eatery of sultan plaza while having lunch nearby one day. Came back here for dinner last night. The stall serves rice bowls from SGD$6.80 onwards. I had the OTOKO signature curry rice which was SGD$7.80 and it come with a choice of either chicken or pork cutlet, 1 ebi fry as well as an onsen egg. Each meal comes with a side of salad and a bowl of miso soup. Have to say portion was quite generous, very filling. Curry was rich and has a thick consistency. Food was okay, value for money for the portion.

Delicious and cheap. We stumbled on this place randomly last year and hadn't realized the name or where it was. Glad we came back to it. The katsu is nice and crisp and you get a very generous portion. Lot of breading but also a lot of meat. I don't mind it since I'm a fan of the crunch. They also include a miso soup and a small potato salad which is super refreshing.

Best Japanese curry rice with pork cutlet in Singapore under $10 and the portion is huge!!!! And they now have curry udon with pork cutlet at $7.80. This is super yummy and the best curry udon I had in my life. I am not sure how they manage to keep the price down! Pls support your local F&B business! They have a branch at my office and near where I live. Now my life is complete with Otoko Japanese food.
