Da Long Yan Sichuan Cuisine

The variety of choice for dishes is alot. I must say, their food is fresh and good. However, mushroom soup base is just too salty. Mala despite big spice is not spicy enough. Whats good here is the scallop are huge & fresh. Prawn paste is one of the best i’ve taste. Bad is service is really slow & not keeping up with order. Whatever that is included on the price, u may have to order afew times then they will remember to send come. Drinks which are charged seperately, u order once i’ll come so fast. If you get what i mean.

Overall decoration is good. Feels like dining is ancient Chinese stall. However, table slightly small with a huge pot. So table becomes slightly small and cramp when all the dishes comes. Soup base is flavorful, more to the salty side. Ingredients are mostly fresh and good. Service is unusually slow however.

The food next to it （maybe 10m away ) named Da Longyan Suan Cai Yu Chinese name:大龙焱酸菜鱼(Boiled Fish with Pickled Cabbage and Chili) is so bad ..the Chinese tea here is very terrible， too bitter one , the fish they cooked is very disappointing and the 宽粉(sweet potato vermicelli) is too hard to eat. Very disappointed. So don’t choose this da long yan pickled fish next to this da longyan hot buffet, and the price is also very high, not worth the money...

Posters say $19.90 per pax outside. My final bill for each person with 2 chargable drinks is close to $35. The choice for the steamboat is great, and ingredients r mostly fresh. But thats a must i guess. Although they do serve you with a smile, it seems like they come to work with a blank mind. Keep forgetting our orders & need to order afew times & remind them afew time. Very disruptive, eat halfway keep need to stop & wait for refill. Plan ahead order first, missing order also. Soup base is nothing fantastic also. Once bitten twice shy, wont be back again!!!

Feels like a very traditional china steamboat shop once you step in. From the wooden table and benches. Steamboat pot comes with dragon head. Food choice many. Then comes nightmare. It’s a free flow buffet but prawn paste limited to 1 per table. Some dishes you order dont come. They must be reminded multiple times. Especially costlier dishes or barbecue sticks which require more work. We came in group of 4, ordered pork barbecue, they gave us 1 sticks with 2.5 piece of meat. How to share among 4 of us ?

The lamb slices are too tough. The rest small dish are served as cold. When we order ice-cream, it is out of stock. The food here is hardly getting average while pricey! Highly not recommended. Plus the waitress is giving us a poker face and the whole place is only having us eating. Never wanna come back again.
