Cold Stone

Cold stone has delicious ice cream and sometimes serve it with a flair! They chop your toppings into the ice cream right in front of you, and if you're lucky they will toss it up and around before putting it in your cup! The price leaves something to be desired though with the smallest size costing $4

Today my friend told me that Cold Stone Creamery’s milkshake is worth a shot despite the price ($9). I have never tried it before so I was quite excited. So, off we go and we ordered two milkshakes only to find pieces of paper in it! We went back to the shop calmly as it might be a honest mistake and we explained the situation to the shop’s manager. To our surprise, the level of service was horrendous! And trust me, when these words comes from someone who does not expect much from customer service, it is really bad. After taking a look at the pieces of paper (that we placed on the top of the cup as evidence), she left to make another two cups of milkshake without uttering a single word. Not a single word of apology, not regretful of their action at all! She assumed that two new cups of milkshake can cover this incident as a whole. At this point of time, we were thinking that maybe she would come back and apologize with the drinks. What came next was a total joke. She said ‘thank you’, so unwillingly, and left. If this is the type of service you are providing to customers, then congratulations, you have lost two customers. A bad ending to a beautiful Saturday! Thanks to Cold Stone Creamery. P/S: the milkshake was actually pretty good but it will be the first and my last

Okay ice cream, I only liked the chocolate flavour after trying much of the selection here. Friendly staff but ice cream needs more choices. Special ice cream creation is just a pretty name for extra toppings with the same ice cream base at the moment. So there is room to wider/ change the scope of offerings to appeal more. That's my tastebuds and opinion. May be different for others here.
