Canton Paradise

Price is a bit on the high side but the taste of the food is worth it. One of the main course my family had was the char siew noodles. The noodles were springy and the char siew that came with the noodles were delicious. The only downside to me was that the chilli they provided were not spicy enough. We also tried the lotus leaf rice which was fragrant and more importantly, not too dry. Families with children must try the liu sha buns which came as small little cute piggy heads. The xiao long bao were good and the skin was sturdy enough for those not too skillful at using chopsticks to handle. The broth was not flavorful enough though. Service staff were attentive even though the restaurant was quite packed.

This newly opened mall has a wide variety of food choices new and old to choose from. Settled on a more recognizable brand at Canton Paradise as we wanted something Chinese on that day. The interior is bright and cheery and staff greeted us with a smile, and proceeded to recommend some of the dishes (which we already knew of from other outlets). Had the excellent XO carrot cake and prawn cheong fun. Also ordered the usual siew mai being our comfort food of choice together with a few other dishes. Overall satisfied with the dining experience and would be back for more!

A cosy ambience with appropriate lighting . Service was prompt and staff had good knowledge about the menu. I order the dog-shaped bun(so cute) and it was piping hot, the red bean fillings were oozing out and it was not too sweet. The XO carrot cake was not too oily, soft in the inside crispy on the outside. The avocado pudding were soft and creamy. Avocado lover will love this dessert! Will definitely return to satisfy my dim sum cravings~
