Do yourself a favor and just go there.... if you haven't been, you're seriously missing out. Get the wings- they are LITERALLY. THE. BEST. WINGS. in Stamford or quite possibly EVER. If you go here and don't like their wings... then you actually just don't like wings and should stop eating them. Burgers are amazing, onion rings are fire, fries are great. Defiantly a locals spot. Outdoor seating available. TVs for games. I'm not sure how they don't have at-least a 5 star for reviews because this place slaps... Actually I do, it's most likely due to the service. Some of the bartenders seem to consistently have an attitude and act like 1 of 2 things: 1) they hate their job or 2) they just hate you. Either or.... it doesn't really bother our group as we're too busy inhaling their underrated next level food and knocking back a few drinks. Honestly for the type of local watering hole that it is, the grumpy bartender is part of the charm! Enjoy!

We spent the weekend in CT for a small getaway and we are so happy we found this place! The bar was pretty full when we got there, but they have a section on the complete other side with booth and table seating. It was nice, because it was quiet and my boyfriend and I could talk while we drank. The service was also amazing. We had a server named Tim and he was extremely attentive but also quite personable. Overall, this was a great experience. Drinks were well made, food was delicious and fairly priced and the service was both friendly and efficient. Will absolutely be returning when we take our next trip to CT.

We loved it here. Burger was spot on. Got there around 330 on Sunday and sat in the bar area. They were short staffed so the bartender doubled as a waiter and absolutely crushed it. We’re pretty low-maintenance patrons but he was attentive enough where if we needed anything he would have handled it. Good on-tap selection, separate area if you’d rather sit in a dining area, and good outside patio area with ping pong and the ring game! Definitely coming back

I first went to Murphy's (based on Google reviews), right before the pandemic caused everything to shut down in March. Since then I've been back 3 more times (including today), and its always been a great experience! It has a nice outdoor seating area, a nice amount of parking, and it is definitely a local neighborhood hangout spot (or so it seems) - and I'm not from Stamford, or from CT, for that matter. The staff is friendly and chill, and has always treated me and my friend (who I've been there with) very nicely and with a welcoming smile. Decent beer and drink selection, and plenty of choices on their food menu. I've tried their Nachos with Chili, Chili Fries, their various burgers, and their Pastrami (and the Reuben with Turkey) - and all have been great! Prices are great, as are the portion sizes. If you're in Stamford and are looking for a chill and relaxed place for a beer or drink or bite - or all of the above - I would give them a try.
