Donut Delight

The line is worth it. My kids love the donuts, my vegan loves their bagels with peanut butter, and I like that they use real eggs (not frozen pucks). This chain is like a local equivalent to Dunkin’. I’ll often stop here before showing real estate to pick up coffees for my clients. Nothing out of the ordinary, but fast, clean, inexpensive and courteous!

A friend was visiting the area and wanted to grab a cup of coffee . He lives by Hartford and he's never even heard of Donuts Delight. Naturally, when he saw the selection of doughnuts, he couldn't resist. So he got a dozen, with the intent to take them home and share them with his family. By the time he left, I think he had 4 or 5 left! Personally, I think they make the best sugared jelly. I don't drink coffee anymore, but when I did, I'd drive the extra 15 minutes to go to a Donuts Delight over Dunkin Donuts any day.

Terrible customer service. I come here late night after church service and the employees working after midnight are always extremely rude. Tonight the worker Norman I believe he said was his name said he would cancel my order due to him not understanding a question I was asking him. He said my order was large and that I had to wait so I was asking if someone would bring the food out or if I would have to get back in line and he said to just give him my card back to refund and that he wasn’t making it cause I was giving him a hard time. He then threatened to call the police on me which made me feel extremely disrespected as a black woman in this climate. This has happened numerous times but tonight was the worst of them all.

Been going here for years after Practices at West Beach fields, for some reason with out warning or signage, they close the lobby and are drive up only. They have had the lobby open for the entire pandemic but a week ago they decided to close it so when I pull out of the GIANT drive through line to go in, we cant. No notice, no reason. Poor service To address the response, this may be the case and we were later than other times we have come by but you have had a year and still not posted a sign to this effect?
