Chef Chu's

Friendly service. We were in town visiting relatives and wanted something different than pizza and burgers for dinner. Lo mein was lightly sauced but flavorful. Crab Rangoon was a little sweeter than we're used to but still tasty. Put stickers were great! I saved the best for last. On the Traditional Chinese section of the menu are some items not normally listed on Americanized Chinese menus. I love mapo tofu but it is hard to find at strip mall Chinese restaurants. I talked to the lady about what it was and she recommended it. It's potentially a messy item for takeout so it arrived in its own bag. It was GREAT. Spicy salty meaty, with plenty of meat and lots of tofu swimming in a red sauce. We don't live that near Point but end up there a couple times a year - we'll make it a point to come back! Thank you!

This is my #1 favorite place in town. The staff is kind, the service is prompt, the food is incredible. I’ve gotten take out, delivery and ate in and the food is always so phenomenal. My favorite is the general tso and plain lo mein. Such good portion sizes. My only gripe is the limited choice of sodas.

If I could give this place no stars I would. We ordered a chicken with brocolli and a chicken in spicy garlic sauce. 1. Chicken with Brocolli- Barely had any chicken and the flavor profile was sub par at best. 2. Chicken in Spicy Garlic Sauce- This was a joke. It was a sweet sauce. The chicken was overfried. It tasted like someone tried to make a general tso's chicken but failed and then called it chicken in spicy garlic sauce. If you are looking for Chinese food in the area maybe try Asian Bistro or one of the other restaurants.

Eleven of us ate here after a graduation ceremony and eleven of us liked what we got. Our server was super friendly and was able to handle the table with no issue all by himself. We all paid on one bill which was ok...the only thing that wasn’t clear was whether or not there was gratuity already added to the receipt. It would have been nice to have that marked instead of having to ask like a dope.

Our favorite (real) Chinese food in town. Their buffet is great but if you want the real-deal ask for their "secret menu" this has their Taiwanese specialities on it. If confused ask for the owner/ manager, a sweet little middle-aged lady. She is happy to help you with your order/experience. We have become tired of the local Chinese food all tasting of too much fish sauce because of the strong southeast Asian influence in the area. I love Thai and Vietnamese food too, but that is not Chinese! Also they deliver.

I waited 18 months for Chus to reopen for dining in because it was true well prepared Chinese cuisine. Was I disappointed! One of my favorites is moo goo gai pan. I opted to celebrate their reopening with this delicious entree. What a mistake..It was no more than sauteed veggies and chicken. When I finally got the waitress to my table I told her that this is not what I ordered. I said moo goo has chicken breast, water chestnuts and snow peas in oyster sauce. She replied that this is the way they have made it for years. That was my last visit - no tip!
