Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

We were visiting Cloverdale the other day and wanted to get some ice cream. We visited Dairy Queen a lot, and so I noticed that some items in this Dairy Queen are priced higher compared to other Dairy Queens. And we actually got less ice cream and toppings compared to the same items at other locations. You would think their operating costs should be lower than their counterparts in the city?!! But you actually pay more and get less here. Last but not least, customer service is lacking.

Lol! Well I haven't been here in ages, pulled in for a meal, and it was super reasonably priced. It was the first time I'd felt like I'd gotten value out of a fast food place - which is what they should be, value food, because it doesn't taste very good as far as food goes. Anyways the food was on par with what I expected, I was satisfied with the taste, I was full, I didn't need anything more and it was cheap. I even went out of my way to mention it to a couple people. DQ has some decent food and it's a good price, you should try them out if you haven't been there in a while. Well that's embarrassing. I went back today for the same thing as I did yesterday and to my dismay the exact same thing I had odered previously was 59% more expensive. I inquired as to if there was a sale, or why it had been cheaper and the rep looked confused and said they've always been that price. Oh well. I guess I got lucky and the first time I was in the cashier made a mistake. It's sad because I genuinely thought I could eat for under $5 but the reality is it's closer to $8, which makes it the same as everywhere else. Not really any value to make up for the blandness. I guess I'll just make myself a sandwich next time.
