Rumbles Fish Bar Sutton

Came in here for our dinner, Cod and chips twice. The portions were huge and both the chips and fish were delicious. So popped back in on another day for the same just to see if the first time was a one-off fluke, but no it wasn't and I was amazed by the portion size. Both pieces of Medium fish 🐠 were large with a very decent portion of chips. The chips are cooked to perfection. So was in here today, Sat 24th to try the Chicken Wrap Meal Deal and a Chicken Fillet Burger Meal Deal for my wife. What I got for my wrap deal was outstanding. Amazing portion size for both deals. The wrap was massive, the "Med" but what I would consider "Large" portions of chips delicious and nicely cooked and the chicken fillet was big and overflowing the burger, great salad amount, all washed down with a can of your choice drink. Seriously good value for money. I cannot praise this chippy enough. Decent, friendly staff and food cooked to order. You can also pre-order your dinner/lunch/ tea and when you go to pick up your order, it will have been cooked, ready and waiting for you. So if you do get to pay a visit here, mention that they come highly recommended, it's nice for the owner and staff to know that they are appreciated. It's worth a drive out from wherever you live. Without doubt, the best chippy for miles in/out and around Ely and probably Cambridgeshire. We came here a couple of months ago. Food was lovely as always. My issue was the staff and the way they were talking to each other. One was arguing with what we would assume was the manager and went to walk out but then said she couldn't leave the other member of staff there with 'him'. I haven't been back since.
