First Watch

The food was amazing! Atmosphere lovely, and great customer service! Food was fresh and served to us in a good time. Our server suggested the chicken pesto hash on the special menu. I ordered it and it was really good, and a nice portion. The only reason I rated 4/5 stars is because the dish was very salty. It was a little over powering. If you’re not a person who likes super salty food or are on a low/no sodium diet, make sure you tell them to hold the added salt.

With all the crazy good reviews I had to check this place out. The experience was good overall but I think I had higher expectations. I will say the fresh juice I got was absolutely delicious. I also got Parma skillet hash and it was pretty good. I think I was expecting more of a wow from it. The friends I was with had the breakfast tacos and the farmhouse skillet has. They enjoyed their meals. There were quiet a few things on the menu that looked good and I think I would try something else next time. I would recommend this place to someone who hasn’t been here and hope to try it again one day.

First Watch has delicious breakfast food! I wasn’t really a breakfast food person until I started coming here. The food is great and it’s located in a convenient location downtown. Walking distance from Curtis Hixon. A great place for Saturday morning! There’s usually a 10-15 minute wait when I go, but not bad at all and worth it for great food:) the BLT Benedict was definitely my favorite. I love that their greens and produce always taste so fresh! Dressing on salad was also delicious. 10/10

We were in town for a company function and got up early and walked down from our hotel near the River Walk. We were seated right away and brought a whole carafe of good coffee. I ordered a blueberry pancake with scrambled eggs and bacon. My husband got eggs Benedict with ham and side salad. He ordered a side whole grain pancake also. The food took a while to arrive but we realized it was definitely worth the wait. The eggs Benedict he said were the best he ever had . My pancakes had a good amount of fresh juicy blueberries. Bacon cooked perfectly. Some have said it was $$$ expensive but I found it in line with most of the large breakfast chains we have been to in the past around ($40) included tip .
