Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza

This was my first time patronizing this particular location and I must say that my expectations were exceeded. There was a minor issue where the pizza and garlic knots were a bit overcooked for my liking and I made a special request to have butter instead of oil on my garlic knots without knowing that butter wasn’t an option but Will the GM was absolutely amazing, explained everything to me and my partner, had great customer service and made sure that we were taken care of promptly. Because of Will, I’ll be returning!

We came here after our bodybuilding competition and the food was amazing! I had my own 16inch pizza and more and all i can say is this pizza 🍕 was the perfect choice. They took great care of us and had a killer cheese cake as well. Hospitality was great especially when the owner greets the customers as well. Thanks for the great food will visit if in tampa again.

We are visiting Florida from Oklahoma and my wife and I were looking for a good pizza place. We found one in Anthony’s. We had the Carnivore and it was delicious. The thick cut pepperoni had great flavor. But the house made meatballs that were on the pizza were some of the best meatballs I’ve ever tasted. They don’t used shredded mozzarella, but chunks of fresh mozzarella that leave’s delicious melted pools of cheese on the pizza. And the char you get on the crust from the coal fired oven was a great finishing touch. I would go out of my way again to find an Anthony’s, if I ever nearby one again.

What a wonderful place! I had the chance to eat pizza in many other countries like England, Germany, Croatia, Turkey and (of course the best one) Italy. This is the hands down the closest to real Italian pizza! Cooked to perfection in 900 degree coal fire! This place is a true gem for sure! Besides the amazing food, it was such a pleasure to meet the great people who made things happen! Our server, Marc was a sweetheart! He informed us about the food and the processes! He even brought us samples from the menu! Top notch place!

Our first time at Anthony’s today and 11/10 for food, customer service and atmosphere. I mentioned to our waiter Marc that it was our first time here. He brought out a sample of their wings, garlic knots and meatball. All were delicious. Garlic knots have a lot of garlic but they are so crispy. The wing isn’t fried and wow does that show. The meatball was tender and juicy. Now for the pizza. I went 12” pepperoni onion and their long spicy pepper. Amazing! Perfect Crust! Pepperoni was mild so the pepper flavor came through. My daughter is a plain cheese kid and devoured hers. Well done Marc and team!
