Even though it's under new ownership, it's absolutely the same old place and we still have Nui cooking the amazing dishes he developed in the kitchen. Don't be afraid to ask for off menu items. We decided to drive to Davis Islands (Tampa, FL ) last night. I used to live there during my high school and college years. Saw my old house which looks beautiful. My dad , who's company built it would be thrilled. 220 East was a pleasant surprise. Everyone there was very nice from the moment we walked in. Our server, Stef was adorable and very helpful. The food was excellent. And they had Chivas! My first in months. Hubby had French Onion Soup. Delicious. Also cheeseburger. Excellent! I ordered an eggplant w/angel hair dish. It was also delish!! Their marinara is wonderful. Having the rest tonight for dinner!🥰 If you're around or even visiting please consider 220 East for lunch, dinner etc. You will be happy you did. Bon appetit!💕💯💯👍
