Was a delicious little gem to find, the chocolate croissant is perfect. Their goat cheese carrot cake, not pictured is delicious! We also had a cafe con leche, overall 10/10. Expect to spend $ if you are ordering more than 1 item, but well worth it.

Sucre is the bakery to hit if you want amazing pastries and don't mind paying a little extra. Their staff is super friendly and knows their stuff, so ask for recommendations! Every bite was heavenly, but be prepared to empty your wallet. Worth it for a special treat though!

This is the second year I’ve gotten a Thanksgiving dessert and both times I’ve been very pleased! This year we did the cranberry currant cheesecake, and previously got the caramel apple pie. Sucre is one of the best bakeries in town - we are fortunate to have such talent in Tampa.

Lets start directly with the food. Almond croissant was melt in your mouth heavenly. The coffee list has some interesting flavors. I would recommend try a couple of them. We thought both the chocolate orange and the pistachio coffee were great. Lets talk about the price. Yes they are pricey. The taste offered though is better than 70 percent of the pastry shops in tampa.

Cute little upscale coffee & pastry shop. I have been at Sucre Table a few times now and I have had a great experience each time I visit. I tried their Salted Caramel Latte, Lavender Latte, Orange Chocolate Latte and classic Vanilla Latte - they are all very tasty. Their croissants are fresh and flaky, my personal favorite is almond, but the chocolate praline is to die for. This place is pricey, but it is located on Kennedy Blvd., so I am sure the rent is insane. I look forward to trying more of Chef Brenda's pastries and cakes in the near future.

Bar-none, best bakery I have visited in North America. Unfortunate that someplace so spectacular is relegated to a dingy plaza in God-knows where Tampa. This should be on 5th Avenue in Naples, or on Worth Avenue, or even Stuart. The location does this diamond of a Euro bakery no justice and, frankly, I would be surprised any but a few people in Tampa know of it at all.
I grew up in Switzerland and spent much of my life in Paris. This one is on par with the finest bakeries on Earth. I am generally not a fan of the farcical labour costs in the United States that augment the price of every measly pastry to an arm and leg's worth. Superior pastries cost a fraction thereof in Europe or in Canada. It takes a lot to justify the steep prices of baked goods in this country and, truth be told, 99 out of 100 bakeries fall pitiably short in living up to the $ tag.
Not this one, though.
My husband and I ordered the Pecan Sticky Bun, Cinnamon Apple Brandy Roll, Chocolate Chunk Cookie, Kouign-Amann and White Chocolate Pistachio Latte.
The sticky bun and cookie were both good, though we wouldn't get either again. The cookie is hefty and sconier, not quite as scony and dense as Levain's and not as doughy, rich and moist as Gideon's. Both have the upper hand on this one, and I am no fan of Gideon's overhype.
The latte was one of the best my husband, a coffee aficionado and snob, has ever had; the brandy roll was delicate and rich with contrasting flavours that roused every bud; but best of all was the Kouign-Amann. This one blew Dominique Ansel's DKA out of the oven by butteryears. The DKA is so bland, airy and banal; Brenda's twist is sublimely dense and doughy (just how I prefer it and how I bake it) – do not let its 'squeashed' size fool you – with actual glistening chunks of butter between layers and, best of all, immaculate caramelization on the outside. Hefty amount of caramel just soft enough for teeth to glide through but firm and crunchy without being sticky or harsh.
I often judge bakeries by their Kouign-Amanns, and this one was better than any I had tried in Brittany. No overhype: you can taste Brenda's resumé with every bite.
We were semi-rushed, in from out of town for a conference, but next time around we are coming in to down a dozen Kouign-Amanns.
This place is a masterpiece – though when speaking with the lovely employee at the front, she was warm and gracious but rather clueless about Brenda's repertoire, which was befuddling and out-of-place. Sucré Table deserves to be highlighted in a bustling, upscale downtown and run by pastry maestros – not in a Tampa parking lot with an amateur presentation.
The easiest 5* I have ever given any place on this continent.

Came here for the Kouign-amann and was not disappointed. Truest queen of butter and sugar and laminated dough. Butter me up and call me a croissant because I’m telling you that I’m a connoisseur and these were perfect. Since everyone is so braggadocious, I too have been to Paris and eaten my way through many a pastry case and Sucre Table holds its own! I got the s’mores cruffin and it was overwhelmingly decadent. The cheesecake was amazing and the lychee tart bowled me over! The pistachio cream in my iced coffee made me wish I got the pistachio croissant. Croissant-ing my heart I will return and 10/10 reccomend!

The food was just amazing!! We had the Japanese strawberry cheesecake and the shallots and mushroom souffle and they were both absolutely the best!! So light and fluffy and melt-in-the-mouth delicious!! We also met the owner and chef and she’s the nicest, sweetest person ever!

Wow wow wow. It was tough to decide because EVERYTHING looked so delicious. We chose to split the Salted Bailey’s Caramel Cake. Kind of wish my husband had gotten his own :-) because it was incredible. At $14.95 a slice, it was worth every penny and more. They have tables inside and out. Inside is beautiful, like stepping into a garden with lots of pretty plants. The almond croissant is calling my name so will be returning very soon! Their coffee selections also look great so will try that as well next time.

At these prices they miss the 5 star mark. When you command these prices your playing with the best and they are not as good as a couple other places I've been to recently whose product cost as much. They missed the mark in flakiness and flavor profile. They are however much better than most pastry shops.
The coffee was lukewarm and also not quite as good as some competitors. The ham and cheese for me was the best croissant. The almond, chocolate and pistachio croissants do not get a "loved it" rating for reasons mentioned.
I also opted for a round ball of chocolate stuffed with goodies, it was milky, crunchy, complex and delicious. I got one of their cakes, loved it, it hit the flavor bullseye.
With a wonderful selection of goodies to choose from, this is a cozy little spot is in a strip center on Kennedy. Parking is easy and a brief wait can be expected. They do heat up any items that you wish. I heated the ham and cheese croissant for a delicious breakfast. A must try for all.
