Wow, what a deal for breakfast. I had the corned beef hash and eggs with grits. Not every place can do grits correctly, and they crushed it. I will be back for sure.

We eat here for work lunches and it’s amazing how fast, friendly, and informative their staff is. The food is great and the options are many. I’m a huge proponent of good customer service and they are a 10 out of 10.

When I saw how many reviews there were on this restaurant, and it was still almost a five. I was a little skeptical. But I must tell you the food was amazing! The only thing better than the food was the service. Small privately owned restaurants like this deserve, our patronage! Thank you so much Ellie for a wonderful breakfast! A few of us from work go for breakfast every few weeks and we so enjoy the food. Service is always great and the food is always on point. Biscuits and Gravy are a must. Waffles are fantastic too. Can't wait to return again soon.

Elie's is Westchase's breakfast gem. It's got that awesome local diner vibe nailed down. I'm pretty sure the owner's a Philly native because his cheesesteak will transport you!
We're hooked. Seriously, my boyfriend begs to bring me here every single weekend. It's quickly become tradition! Fantastic service, fantastic food, it's a 5/5 for us. See you next weekend!

We come here all the time! Ellie's is such a fantastic neighborhood staple. The staff is super friendly and even when it's crowded the wait is not very long.
Everything is delicious! At this point I think we've eaten through the whole menu and nothing has been disappointing. The fries and eggs tend to be served under salted but it's easy to salt to taste at the table.

Food was good and generous serving size. Prices are very good. Fast service. Clean. I thought my omelet could have had more meat, very little sausage. Did not like rye toast, very rubbery and very little flavor.

I had passed by Ellie's often without stopping in. I remedied that this past weekend when my wife and I went to Ellie's for Sunday Brunch before catching a movie matinee.
The menu was chock full of beloved American favorites for both breakfast and lunch fare. My wife ordered a combination of eggs, bacon and a pancake. I eat a LOT more than she does, and ordered Corned Beef Hash, home fries, and grits.
The Hash was cooked to PERFECTION with that perfect crispy glaze on top. The grits (NOT out of a packet) were creamy, and they had already added butter, to my delight. The home fries were likewise cooked to perfection.
Our meals were whisked out to us in just the right amount of time to know that they were cooked (not warmed), but still quickly. The food was piping hot.
The service was impeccable. Not only did our assigned server help us, but every OTHER server that passed our table asked if we needed anything. Our drinks were magically refilled without ONCE having to look around for a server.
They are the epitome of a proud establishment that delivers "Old Skool Hospitality." 5 of 5 STARS!!!
