The Lure

We went here on a Saturday afternoon, it wasn’t crowded yet, we sat at the bar & chatted with the staff for a bit, all of which were super cool, our server Brittany was great! Weird combo but we had California and Tampa rolls and the meatballs! Everything was delicious! The inside is cute and trendy with a really nice cut out bamboo wall. Happy hour M-F and hospitality discount daily! Our experience here was very positive. I told my friends about this place the next day!

Delicious food and great service!! Lindsey did an awesome job as our server. She made training chopsticks for me which was thoughtful. David, the manager, made sure we were taken care of and was so friendly. I highly recommend the lava drops!! Sooo good! My husband and I enjoyed our signature sushi and our son enjoyed his chicken tenders.

I really liked the feel of the place and the very very friendly environment! So much good food to choose from. I had a delicious Cobb Salad. My lunch companion had the House Salad with the Red Fish. She said it was very delicious. We both shared the tater tots with lots of crush garlic on it. That was beyond words.

So originally we weren’t going to try this place out after reviewing the not so good reviews.... but we would have missed out on a pretty damn good place if we did that! We had the redfish and Gouda cheese grits and the gouda cheese grits and steak pasta.. all I can say is phenomenal... nothing less than amazing. Personally, the Gouda cheese grits, steak, shrimp, and sausage pasta was my favorite. We also had a chance to try the sushi. Though, I’m not really a sushi person, it was outstanding as well. To top off our first experience, the bartender, chef, and owner was very welcoming and made our dinner enjoyable with such great customer service. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place for friends to share tapas! We got sushi, wings, filet, & red fish. All were fabulous. The owner, greeted us and explained the menu and how their kitchen operates. Plus added what their most popular dishes are. Service was excellent and accommodating! Great stop for working tourist like us!

This place is a great South Tampa hangout. The food is delicious, service was awesome, and the atmosphere was great. We had a group of 5 for a small, casual meeting and everyone was quite pleased. Kudos to our server, Zoie (I hope I'm spelling it correctly. Forgive me if I didn't.) He took great care of our group while allowing us to still carry on our business with minimal interruptions. Must tries: The Baby Go, Fig & Pig, Joey Meatballs, and the Great American Taco. Definitely going back.
