Food was good. Not amazing or wow. My order was messed up twice, then was told it was right and still buffalo wrap has no sauce in it. My fries came out cold as did the Mac and cheese. By that point I was done saying anything. Wouldn't go back. Could be a cool place and I could see it being great if you live close.

We were only in Tampa for one night, boarding a cruise ship the next day. We checked online to find a place for a quick dinner, within walking distance of our hotel. The District Tavern fit the bill. The outside decor is very subdued, nondescript. If we hadn't been looking for it specifically, we probably would have walked right by.
Once inside, there are several choices of seating. We seated ourselves and were quickly greeted by a server. After taking our drink order and leaving menus, she returned quickly to take our order. We decided to get grilled chicken wraps. As we waited, we noticed they did a good amount of local take-out orders. That is always a good sign. The wraps were delivered in a reasonable amount of time, and they were excellent. Great simple meal, but fresh, hot and delicious. If you are in the Tampa Port area, I would definitely recommend this location.

Had a great time dining at District Tavern. We were a table of 7 and all have never been. All visiting for the Volleyball Final 4. Atmosphere was great. Food was amazing. Our waitress Danielle was amazing. Very personable, fun, and helpful with whatever we needed.

Love this place! Every time you come in, it feels like coming to a friends house. The service is great- Kate and Tyler on the bar are the best!! I get the chicken wrap every time, it’s the best.

The short of it, food is fantastic and the staff is fast and wildly friendly. Couple that with a great location that's perfect to start your night or finish your night and you have a true downtown staple for Tampa. It's also a great place to catch lightning or Bucs games but get there early on event days, it fills up fast!
