Spookeeasy Lounge

there aren't enough places that sound like the name came before the idea. spookeasy lounge is not only a terrific play on words but also a terrifyingly cool place for a spooky date - the menu options are varied for how limited it may seem at first glance, and the food was really good, so coming here to eat is worth it as much as coming for the atmosphere and decor. I also appreciate this being a sober-area, compared to the downstairs drinking space, because often the two are conjoined when it comes to lounges and bars. I don't drink myself, so it's nice having a place in an area like ybor that you can still "go out" to, especially in the evening. I also loved the vending machine selling a wild assortment of things, because it's a funny gimmick that I don't see too often, and suits the place well somehow. it being next to the bathrooms just kind of makes sense. I am still excited to next time experience the downstairs catacombs once I'm in the US again - if I enjoy the lounge then I have a feeling the catacombs will be pretty cool too.

This place is awesome. I hosted my bestfriends bridal shower here. This place was definatly the brides style and I was thinking about it again today and felt the impression should be shared. I still think about how smooth everything went for us. The owner Kat is very communicative. She was really wonderful to work with. I liked with Spookeasy they were straight forward with the process that left no guessing on steps, options and price etc. The kitchen staff and bartenders were awesome too. The head chef was very professional. The food catered was delicious and beautifully set. They really have a great menu. (Ive gone many times on regular nights too and every thing ive had came out good and the people ive met each time going have, always been cool to hang out with too) I couldn't have gone with a better place. I really thank everyone there. Very well run and def recommend them as a spot to visit or even have a group event.

Had never had kratom before but the staff was very knowledgable and were able to make recommendations. I had a small green kratom with tropical fruit flavors. Food was good and the chocolate chip cookies are excellent. Truly have never been in anyplace else with such a unique atmosphere. Wish I could have taken a ghost tour!

Coffee shop part is much nicer and has a better atmosphere than the catacombs. Catacombs had club music and didn't match the theme of the place cups were plastic and drinks names were cool but the presentation of the drink was not good looked like a beach bar drink with no garnish. Coffee shop was cool. The coffee mugs were very cool and got the theme.

If you think the pictures look cool... THE VIBE IS EVERYTHING!!!! walk in, to the right head down the stairs to the Catacombs for your adult libations in the cozy dungeon like space...if dungeons were sexy cool! Walk in, to the left up the stairs the space opens up to the most amazing space...kinda looks like a hunting lodge for rich weirdos. There is so much to look at so do yourself a favor and take it all in! This haunted space has an Amazing Kava and botanical tea bar with very knowledgeable and patient tenders...We had no idea on what to order and their suggestions were amazing Mind you my fiance does not like tea! But they made a believer out of him! Take all this and add the fact that they are open early and always have something going on! I need more stars to give!

Enter, look left, go up the steps, you have arrived. Eeyore doesn't care for kava too much and isn't a botanical tea kinda donkey. That all said. The vibe is wicked cool and the staff super chill. Overall great place to relax, even if the drinks aren't your thing. There is food as well, but this isn't your foodie kinda place. So the review isn't about the food (I suggest stick with the drinks and enjoy the vibe). If liquor is your preference, go downstairs to be greeted by a full liquor and beer bar with a similar vibe. To get down there, upon entering, look right. Now walk over there, see steps, down you go...

awesome spot if you’re in tampa and wanna enjoy some spooky vibes and great kava. they’ve got event nights to keep you engaged and plenty of comfy seating. hours are exactly as listed. the location is in a good spot, with a public parking lot right across the street. kavatenders are all friendly and helpful if you have any questions about the menu. bathrooms are decorated and clean. food was yummy. the kava blend we had here with our usual flavor combinations was by far the best i’ve tasted in the tampa metro area! there’s also an actual bar downstairs called The Catacombs, also with an amazing gothic vibe. highly recommend this spot!
