On my lunch break me and my coworker pulled up to the drive thru window and were pleasantly greeted by a lady who asked how we were and then explained she was short staffed and she was a one woman band in the entire restaurant but reassured us she'd take care of us and she did , above and beyond customer service . I admired this woman and how professionally she handled the current situation and have the upmost respect for how well she rocked it ! Thank-you! She really deserves a round of applause from coworkers and uppermanagement . Her name was Vanessa and she's the reason we will return.

They no longer have servers and normally that would be a bad thing. The guy doing the work had a great attitude and was very helpful. I'm sure the reason for the lack of servers is to keep the business open. Man that was one of my favorite Hangouts when I was in high school.

It's a shame that there are no more waitresses serving customers you now have to punch in everything on a machine like a robot. That was the saddest thing

I used to go to this place, while living in Texas. The burgers are always good, the shakes are many to choose from and the onion rings are really good. It's been 6 years since my last Steak N Shake burger. Glad to have found them in in Tampa.

Love the milkshakes and it's usually never crowded and I love that. Prices are decent and food as well. Did I mentioned that the shakes are awesome 😎👍

This place was nice did not like that fact that I had to use a machine to make on order, the cheese fries were disappointing and I did not even get them at first so they had to correct this the skies were fantastic

I was just at the steak n' shake on south Dale Mabry and wanted to give kudos to your staff at that location. They were all very friendly and helpful. I especially want to give a huge shot out to Vanessa! She really cares about the cleanliness of the restaurant and the food area. She kindly and gently reminded another employee to change her gloves because she needed to. I was very impressed with Vanessa and her dedication to your store!! She really made my day today!! Additionally, I cleared my table of the shake glasses and the busser came out and told me that I didn't have to lay the glasses down. The cook offered to help us order at the kiosk. Seriously, I have not seen this level of service anywhere since covid hit. Your employees deserve some recognition. Thanks!!!
