La Bananas

We popped in here the first night of arriving at the resort. We asked one of the staff members help in finding the ski lift pass machine and said we would pop back. Unfortunately, I sustained an injury the next day but we did pop back a couple more times in the week. It is very well located and not as busy as you would have thought. That may however have been down to the time of year as it was the last main ski week of the season.

Wow. What an experience. From the dense crowd of fruity Brits drinking sugary drinks, to the subwoofer reaching from floor to ceiling, the atmosphere in the basement of this TexMex restaurant is electric. Although unassuming from the outside, this bar packs a punch. The allure and anticipation only increase as you head down the stairs to meet your new best friends. Among a diverse crowd of white British males, testosterone runs high, and you will be titillated by stories of hair transplants. If you're lucky, a fight might break out, someone might get locked in the bathroom, and drywall will fall from the ceilings. You might even get to play the age guessing game, led by a few sixteen year olds. The elegance of the men's room in Bananas will make you feel like you're relieving yourself in any of the top bathrooms in Afghanistan. Your experience will be memorable. 10/10 would recommend. P.S. Bring €2 for coat check! Good opportunity to upgrade your jacket for someone else's!
