New York Diner And Bagel

I absolutely love this place. If you are looking for a great breakfast/ lunch spot, then look no further. my husband and I eat here several times a week. the prices are great. especially for the amount of food they give you. And the staff treats you like family. they know everyone's name. The owner, Abby, is wonderful and always has a smile on her face. I couldn't recommend a better restaurant.

I was at the New York diner Saturday morning with a friend. We ordered breakfast. I ordered sausage gravy and biscuits with two over easy eggs on the biscuits, then the sausage gravy on top of that, Then hashbrowns on top of it all. When the waitress brought my plate it wasn’t made like I told her. Now she wrote all this down on our pad as to how I wanted it prepared. The sausage gravy was poured on top of the eggs and hash brown. When I asked The waitress if she could have it remade the way I wanted it she came back with the same plate and said that the cook who is also the owner said he’s not going to waste that plate that he could not and would not remake it. I told him that I would not pay for it and I would not eat it. While my friend finished his breakfast I end up having to go somewhere else to eat breakfast that morning before we left on a trip. On the way out I told him that I would be writing a review. He said I don’t care have a good day. Needless to say we will not ever go there again. And by the way no one was wearing a mask that was preparing food

My wife and I always go there for Sunday breakfast this Sunday was very unacceptable don't like hair in my food. big long black ones and it wasn't one it was two in different parts of the meal brought it to their attention and they said well we'll knock some money off the bill it was like a few dollars are you kidding me that was disgusting and I'm never going back after going for 5 years and he doesn't talk to his wife very nice either in front of people the owner he screams at her

My mom and I had a great experience here. Our server/one of the owners was super sweet and welcoming. We sat at the 'bar' area and were salivating watching meals prepared meticulously. We loved our omelette, fries, muffin, French toast and cuban bread. Place was packed for a Monday but service was great.
