Denny's

Denny's is always a great place for breakfast (lunch has great options as well). Their pancakes are the best and you can never go wrong with the Moons over Myhammy, (I always switch out my hash browns for seasoned fries). The reason for the 4 stars is the condition of the bathrooms, so many restaurants just don't keep them clean enough. I'm always concerned about the cleaning standards of the restaurant if the bathrooms are not being looked after properly. The restaurant appeared clean but could use a refresh some surfaces are getting a bit worn. Staff were fantastic they were very pleasant and went out of their way to ensure we had a great visit to this Denny's location.

Update on 2nd outing: Hashbrown portion size was bigger, and a side of 2 buttermilk pancakes was only a charge of 1.59. I was expecting at least 5 bucks. It was a very pleasant surprise! Waitress Brook B. checked in on us frequently. We had a good brunch here. Great covid protocols here. There are shields between booths. Cake batter milkshake and veggie omelette were excellent. I wish hashbrowns portion was larger. Great dine in experience overall.

Went in and had Super Slam special and clubhouse sandwich. At this time Denny's, like everywhere else, was short-staffed but service was decent. Super Slam breakfast special good deal and overall satisfying with huge pancakes. Clubhouse sandwich was very dry and poorly assembled, but had real turkey breast which was a plus. Overall only OK, but decent value.

Our experience was absolute garbage. We arrived in two groups. The first part arrived and got seated & their drinks. The second portion of our party arrived and got situated. We sat for quite a bit before our serve came over said high, asked if she could take our order. Our kids went to order and the server said, “ I’m going to take that other tables order....” we weren’t even asked for drinks. Which we kindly asked if we could at least order our drinks before she did. Eventually we were graced with service enough to get drinks (several were missed). Our orders were mostly right, one was completely forgotten and the server argued with me and how I was wrong about the eggs that I ordered. Poached and scrambled are the same apparently. Two of our kids weren’t given cutlery, which we asked for FIVE TIMES!!! We didn’t even get kid menus, and when we ordered the server, was so surprised we all chose the adult menu. I mentioned, as did my husband and mother in law, that it was because we weren’t given kids menus.... she could have cared less. As an adult I had to eat with a spoon so my children could eat their breakfast. The food itself was so gross. Medium poached eggs that came out raw, French toast that was dry, as if it had never been dipped in egg, and burnt toast. Barely saw our server, just another girl who actually did a great job. Isabelle did an excellent job, I would sit in her section. The manager, was completely useless, apparently couldn’t take or didn’t care. As we walked out we heard two other tables telling their servers that their orders were wrong or they were awful.Terrible food and service. How sad

My family and I went for brunch on a decently busy Sunday. Understandably, things were not the quickest and staff was short. Our server, Dori was less than pleasant, incredibly dismissive and forgetful, every time we asked for something that she had forgotten we were met with eye rolls and were cut off by her walking away. She was very slow, we didn’t receive cutlery for an extremely long time after getting our food and it was overall a very unfortunate experience. We also experienced several tables in our vicinity experience the same attitude and slow/forgetful service from Dori. Many other reviews say great things about this particular server, but under pressure and in a busy restaurant I would say the complete opposite.

Very yummy food and excellent food. I went on a Sunday afternoon when it was quite busy. Despite that I was seated within a reasonable time and my server Celina was delightful and attentive. My food arrived hot and fresh again within a very reasonable time despite it being very busy. Hats off to the staff!
