Uncle Dave's Pizzaria

This is my 92nd eatery in Vernon and Coldstream in my quest to eat at 150+ eateries in town. I had Uncle Dave's pizza about twenty-two years ago because my best friend and his mom (neither of which I no longer speak to) frequently ordered Uncle Dave's when I went over to his house. Some of my friends have worked here. I'm sure they brought Uncle Dave's, but I have never remembered the taste. So alas, today, I dined in. Leslie was a fantastic server. I ordered a veggie pizza but swapped out tomatoes for jalapeños. I was given a jug of water and I could use two different types of hot sauce while eating. My total came to $20.53 for a small veggie pizza after tax and a 15 percent tip. I didn't realize they did other pub staples here and had TVs to watch sports. The pizza tasted great. The dough was a bit on the hard side, but I know many people don't like soft dough. Look at the pizza for yourself down below and decide if it's your style of pizza! I'll come by to eat here again if I am on the way to trivia.

Great pizza, great staff and an abundance of quality ingredients. Uncle Dave’s hands down has the best crust of any pizza around here. Best pizza I've ever had! We have tried most of the pizza places in Vernon and although there are decent ones out there, none of them have yet been close to as amazing as Dave's. Whenever we have a craving for pizza - that's where we go... no messing around. We live about 25 min away, and will always make that drive, even though there is a pizza place not 5 min from us. Been a loyal customer for 4 years now. Thanks Dave's!!!

Ordered a large 2 for 1, got pepperoni & mushrooms on the first and hot banana peppers with Italian sausage on the other. Toppings were ample (aside for the mushrooms). Pizza crust was crisp, not too thin but lacked flavour. Rather bland tasting crust. Nice that you could pick up a piece to eat with out it flopping.

We've order from here a few times now. Not being from Vernon we didn't know what to expect but the pizzas are excellent. Very filling. We've also ordered salads which are very large. The chicken fingers seem to be homemade and not from a box like a lot of other places. For a real treat try their home made potato chips!
