White Spot Vernon

I gave this restaurant 4 stars but the food gets 5 stars. it a clean well kept restaurant, staff were pleasant and inviting. I would say my eggs benny was the best I have ever had and I eat Eggs Benny everywhere. My biggest issue these days for most places is the lack of staff. Our waiting staff were clearly run off their feet and did their best to provide good service but when you have more tables then you can handle some things get missed (had to ask for coffee, did not get offered more smashed potatoes as those were bottomless). For a more upscale restaurant I expect more attention. Again not the wait staffs fault clearly they were short staffed and did a fantastic job given their circumstance.

Honestly probably the best dining experience I have had in a very long time. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. Friendly upbeat and and a solid rock with several tables all needing attention. She was efficient and patient. Drinks were never empty and food came at a great rate. I had the chicken coconut curry. I think it should be called a taste of heaven. It's fantastic. My daughter was entertained with the activity book provided and all staff were great with her. It's a fun place with fabulous food.

Me and my mom stopped in to grab a quick after work meal, we let the server know we were in a rush. Although they were short staffed in the kitchen they made it happen in perfect timing for us to go to our next stop. Tremendous work from the kitchen to make us great food and lovely servers to bring an overall great experience 🙏

Ordered two meals, one of the meals had a gluten free bun ordered with it. As it was an allergy it was lucky that I could see the difference, as the person that brought it out was not our server she had no clue it was the wrong bun. The other meal was a breakfast order that had the eggs a different style then ordered and missing an item. Both meals had to be remade. There was no discount offered and we were given the full bill.

I took my mom here for "Mother's Day" and despite the lengthy wait, my mom and I were able to pass the time by talking and the waitress was very caring even if it meant telling us that our wait was going to be a tad bit longer. Overall I enjoyed the food and thanks to what I think was the "Manager" who gave my mom a flower to make her day feel extra bright, thank you very much!
