Brooklyn Water Bagels

My first time here. The restaurant was clean and the staff who took my order was personable and polite. I took a star off the review for two reasons. The first is that when ordering another team member started running a wet dry shop next to the cash register and it very difficult to place the order and confirm it was correct. The second reason for the lack of a star was the manager slid the bag containing my order across the counter at me and walked away. It’s not that he was rude, it’s just that he wasn’t friendly. The bagels were good. The amount of cream cheese was impressive and I’ll be sure to return. I would encourage everyone to get bagels here but I think the customer service skills could improve.

Having grown up in NJ - I am acutely aware of the importance of the water when making a bagel. And, sure enough, the bagel(s) I had for lunch today were the closest thing I've had since leaving the state. Shout out to Josh and the cook who both were extremely accommodating to us - and who helped solidify a new loyal customer.
