Have eaten here many times over the years and gotten take out as well. Have never had any issues ordering take out over the phone, and have always had great food with each order. Dan Dan noodles and the hot and spicy pork wontons in particular stick out as some favorites. Sometimes the restaurant can be quite busy, and when that happens naturally your orders or server make take some more time, especially now with more limited wait staff. One other thing to point out, one of the few places in the east bay that is reliably open on major holidays as far as I have noticed. They will adjust the level of spiciness to your order as much as possible, just communicate clearly when you make your order.

Food has too much sugar and did not taste fresh. I think store bought ginger and/or garlic paste was used instead o fresh ingredients. Fried spring rolls and scallion pancakes were mushy on inside and crispy on outside. Oil was probably too hot in the fryers.

Authentic Chinese!!! Not afraid to spice it up. Large menu to choose from.

3.5 stars. Fried prawns were served prawn style (flattened, tear drop shaped with thin panko like coating), dry fried green bean (good, tupical style), Sichuan dry fried beef (thin coating, fried beef match sticks with cut up dried chili and jalapeno along with celery sticks (thicker cut) and hot and sour soup ,(tangier flavor compared to what I would call standard). Worth a return visit to explore the menu. $$-$$$-restaurants in general are more expensive these days (the 2 main dishes were in the $15-16 range each).

Pretty bad service. The 2 waitresses really don’t care about their images and business. Non-responsive, missed an dish we ordered after she repeated well on our order.
We came away with impression that these two Chinese ladies served the non Chinese customers with some good gestures while all stiff faces to us.

Chinese restaurant in a typical suburban setting. A strip mall, of course! The interesting thing is that they feature many dishes from the Szechuan province. Service was incredibly quick as i barely tasted the offered kimchi when my dish arrived. The menu stated that it would have a heavy garlic flavor, which i was looking forward to, but most of what i tasted was cilantro. Probably not the best choice and I'll try something different on a future visit.
Time for the second visit, and this time i was much happier! They gave me their special szechuan menu!! Being by myself, i ordered the spicy lotus root dish. I have not seen a dish with lotus root in over a decade and this one exceeded my expectations by fearuring lotus roots! Flavored with szechuan peppercorns, jalapenos, and dried chilis, it was very tasty. I am now looking forward to more visits!!!!

A typical Chinese restaurant for western people. Quiet. Clean bathroom. Spicy Sichuan food! But you can choose non-spicy food as well. It opens on Christmas Eve, while most other restaurants closed.

There are so many good sounding things on the menu! We had the specialties chicken lettuce wraps and rhw garlic sauce prawns, it was a garlic white sauce. Very good. Worth it for the small dishes the bring out first!
