Pita Factory

Used to love this place before the pandemic. Now despite keeping their prices the same, they have reduced their portions drasticly. I got the factory dinner but they barely added any meat to it. The staff seem indifferent and disinterested in customers. I hope my experience today was just an outlier.

Workers were slow. Put skipped the dishes orders before our orders during our lunch hour when we were clearly in construction clothes with hard hats on.. Put my food directly on the counter dragging it across old sauce and everything that was dried on the counter completely Unsanitary. the worker look like she hated her life and just did not want to be there

If I could give less then one start I would. The girls was making my pita in front of me wrong and continued to do so, even tho I was telling her to add cheese and it should have more rice. That it is half a pita. Wen she was adding the topping I told her lots of green pepper and onion because I’m not adding the other topping. After she fills the two steak pitas they were half full. I’m asking for cheese and she is straight ignoring me. Then wen on to wrap my steak pita without my steak. So I say ok I get it you don’t want to give me cheese but can I at least get my steak. I tried to get cheese on the second one, and again I was ignored several times. I am so in happy I spent $56.06 for 2 steak pita one gyro pita and two poutines. Don’t get me started about the poutines. Horrible. Today’s date is March 3ed 2022. The time was 8:04. That girl needs fired. She did realize that there wasn’t enough rice but she still carried on to just divide that up and make it do for 2. And there was absolutely no flavour she was very cheap with the teriyaki sauce. The rice tasted plane and the steak everything horrible horrible.

Portions were generous, but lacking in flavor. The salad was fresh and the ingredients were out for display. I would've preferred it however, if they asked me for input on how it would be made instead of just doing the salad their way. The rice for example, was overly overly cooked, making them puffed, bland and textureless. The chicken lacked flavor, was overcooked, and as a result very dry. I had to load it with salt and pepper. We had lunch as a family of three and most agreed it wasn't worth returning to. Three for lunch came up to $ 47. Disappointed that the meals eaten in the restaurant were being served on styrofoam clamshells when there are better environmentally conscious options. You got the "move along" treatment at the counter, so you felt like cattle being herded. There were no positive personal interactions or touches.
