Porcini's

Been wanting to try this place and glad we finally did because we'll be coming back soon. Came early on a Friday night (they open at 5pm) and the restaurant didn't start getting packed yet. We got the Greek salad, calamari (sautéed and not breaded and fried like most places), seafood Fra Diavolo (we got one spicy and one not spicy and both were delicious with plenty of seafood), veal marsala and veal parmesan. Everyone loved their entrées. Everything was cooked to perfection and not too salty. Our server was very nice and attentive which always makes the dining experience that much more enjoyable!

Walked in for a table of two on a Friday night around 6pm and was seated immediately. They gave us some bread but the oil spread was very bland. We ordered the eggplant and calamari appetizer. The eggplants were flavorful but the calamari was nothing impressive. I ordered the chicken Parmesan which was filling and would have been dry but was saved by the tangy sauce which was the star of the dish. my friend got the Bolognese which okay would have been better with a little more sauce. There was on street parking and our waitress Amanda was prompt and personable. the atmosphere was aiming towards relaxed casual dining but the floor felt a little cramped once people started seating for dinner.

Walked in on a cold and rainy Halloween evening and was greeted and walked to be sat, passing a warm and inviting fire place. Megan, my server was knowledgeable, accommodating, pleasant , and offered fast service. Went in for a quick dinner before a movie. The food was hot, fresh, and oh so delicious. The patrons were friendly and so was the entire staff and chef, who took the time to greet my friends and I and thank us for dining. I will definitely return the next time I visit Boston.

I visited Porcini's on my vacation in Boston with my boyfriend. The service was fantastic, even with a waitress in training. Everyone was lovely and friendly the moment we stepped through the door. We got our menus, drinks, and appetizer fast and the food was AMAZING. We got the brussel sprouts appetizer with apricot and pancetta bits, my boyfriend got the chicken parmesan entree, and I got the stuffed ravioli with mushrooms special. I highly recommend this restaurant! It's definitely worth a visit.
